Our understanding of neutrinos has evolved substantially since its conception in the early 30s. It has been a lengthy processing of theoretical and experimental elaboration that still continues today. This exciting journey will be covered in this talk. I will focus on the experimental aspects and highlight a few experiments, among which are two experiments that i worked on: the NOMAD (Neutrino Oscillation MAgnetic Detector) experiment and the MINOS(Main Injector Neutrino Oscillation Search) experiments.
