As well known, the latest measurements of the Higgs-like signal at $125\gev$ at the LHC clearly favors a fairly SM-like Higgs boson with mass of 125.5 GeV. However, as the simplest extension beyond the SM, the Two-Higgs-Doublet Models (2HDM) of Type~I and II is also able to provide a consistent description with the LHC Higgs signal. The results from global fitting taking into account all relevant pre-LHC constraints as well as the most recent limits coming from searches for heavy Higgs-like states at the LHC will be presented. The current status of the 2HDMs of Type~I and II and their implications for future experiments for both the observed $125\gev$ state and for the other Higgs bosons will be also discussed.
