Biographical Sketch:
Yuping Chen,she is currently a professor with the School of Physics and Astronomy, State Key Laboratory of Advanced Optical Communication Systems and Networks, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China. She received her Ph.D. degree in optics fromSJTU in 2002. From 2005, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Institute of Optics, University of Rochester, New York. She has published over 60 papers in refereed journals and over 10 invited talks at conferences. Her current research focuses on on-chip photonic integrated devices and their applications in photonic information processing.
