Biographical Sketch:
Mr. Xian-Zhi Wang gained his Master degree of Science at Department of Physics of Beijing University in 1991. He gained his Ph. D. at Department of Physics of Pohang University of Science and Technology in Korea in 1999. He joined the faculty of Department of Physics of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1999 and became a full professor in 2002. His main areas of research include equilibrium and non-equilibrium thermodynamics and statistical physics. He made some significant contributions in fractal, the critical line of two-dimensional antiferromagnetic Ising model, Bose-Einstein condensation, the theory of condensation of gas, the Yang-Lee theory of phase transition, the equation of state of hard-sphere fluids , the freezing theory of hard-sphere fluids, irreversible cycle, etc. He has published some papers in Physical Review Letters, Physical Review A, E, D, Journal of Chemical Physics, etc.
