Research Interests:

Two-dimensional materials such as graphene,2D van der Waals heterostructures,moiré flat band,strongly correlated physics and superconductivity,topological physics,electrical transport at low-temperature and high magnetic field,quantum Hall effect, etc.
 

Biographical Sketch:

Prof. Chen got his BSc from Shandong University in 2010, and Ph.D. degree from the department of physics of Fudan University in 2016, (supervisor: Professor Yuanbo Zhang). From 2017 to 2020, he worked at the University of California, Berkeley and Lawrence-Berkeley National Lab as a postdoc fellow (Prof. Feng Wang research group). In 2020, he joined the School of Physics and Astronomy, Shanghai Jiao Tong University as a tenure-track associate professor and PI.

Postdocs:

Applicants with backgrounds in condensed matter physics, micro-nano device fabrications, and low-temperature electrical transport measurement. We provide internationally competitive salaries, housing within campus and top research environment.

For students who are interested in condensed matter physics and ambitious to study for a Ph.D. degree.

Undergraduate students:

RA:

The positions of research assistants are also provided for students who have obtained Ph.D. offers from top foreign universities but are temporarily unable to go due to VISA.
